Wedding Photography in Brits

Cobus and Adré got married in Brits in December, and let me tell you one thing, you don’t get much hotter than a December in Brits. I was VERY glad that I’m the wedding photographer and not the groom that had to wear a suit and tie!

Except for the weather there is a number of things that I will remember about their wedding, the fact that they are two of the nicest most decent people I have ever met must count as number one. Their ceremony was in a real church….not often that you get that nowadays, ceremonies are normally in the chapels at the wedding venues. It felt right doing the ceremony in a church. I enjoyed all the sweets at the wedding, there were bowls and bowls full of sweets and the guests could help themselves to some sweets, that was their Thank you gift. Very nice idea. my little daughter particularly enjoyed it on Sunday morning when she woke up!

And oh yes, one of the funniest moments was during the photo shoot, we went to a nearby park, and I asked Cobus and Adré to sit on two swings so that I could photograph them, Adré was ok, but Cobus fell off the swing as he was sitting down….have a look at the photo later on. He blamed it on his pants.  Adré and myself really enjoyed this, I think I did a little bit more…she had to look concerned. LOL

THE LOVE STORY OF COBUS AND ADRÉ

Who would have thought that a colleague would become your true love? That is the story of us and today we are best friends and absolute soul mates. What started out to be a work relationship between us turned out to be a story of absolute love and the meeting of two persons who care so much for each other and cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together. A person knows when he or she has met the person you can grow old with and will stand by you in happy and in tough times. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that you have met that special person. We got engaged on the 14th of April 2012 in the Magaliesberg on a cheese farm where we had a picnic. We had a picnic for our first real date on the same farm. It was so amazing to absolutely surprise Adré with something special like that and the feeling when she said yes you cannot describe, because it was just so amazing and we couldn’t stop smiling.
It is wonderful to think that your soul mate will cross your path when you least expect it and it was worth waiting for. We love each other dearly and we are looking forward to getting married to our best friend.

Thatch Haven country Lodge wedding

Their wedding was at the beautiful Thatch Haven in Brits in North West. here is the link to their website. The food was superb (we had “braaivleis”) and their service very friendly and efficient. You can’t make a mistake if you want to get married in Brits and you contact this people. They also have bungalows where your guests can stay over and lots of places on the premises and nearby to take beautiful wedding photos.

Cobus and Adré, thanks for the privilege of choosing me as your wedding photographer. I will never forget the good time we had together. You two are really a match made in heaven, enjoy the future together.
