The wedding date was 28 March 2014, coincidentally the same date that Surika and I got married on, so I won’t forget this one easily! Sally and Russell got married at the beautiful Tres Jolie, but their love story started 16 years earlier. I asked Sally to tell us more… We have so many incredible stories to share and therefore decided to go through our Box of Treasures and find a special memory that reflects our relationship. Chapter 1: We found a poem – a poem that I wrote for Rus 16 years ago when we started dating – 06 May 1998.  We wanted to share these special words with you… “TO YOU I BELONG” To you I belong… Like the sea belongs to the earth Like the birds to the sky Like the diamonds to the soil It is in you I trust and it is a love that we know…   To you I belong… Like the foe trusts the deer Like the duckling to the swan Like the sword of the knight It is in you  I trust and it is a love that we share…   To you I belong… Like a mother loves her baby Like the reflection of an image Like the strength of a vine It is in you  I trust and it is a love that we cherish…   It is only in YOU!   Russell Brown, we belong to each other – you are my puzzle piece that fits perfectly.  These three words are just for you ~ I LOVE YOU!    Our advice: Trust each other 100%, commit, understand each other and don’t change the person you fell in love with.  Be yourself and remember, True Love is a blessing!
