12 February 2010. Robert and Antoinette’s wedding day. I met Antoinette at the lodge where she was getting dressed to start photographing her when they do her make-up. I like to be there early to start photographing the bride. I believe that way my photographs tell the whole story and the bride is more relaxed with my presence. There is NO time limit on how long I photograph the wedding…neither do I charge more. The important thing is to get the shots and keep the couple happy. Antoinette was SUPER relaxed….you can see she can handle pressure well…LOL

The wedding was at Mellow oaks . Sukie, Johan and their team were their usual magnificent self. I’ve photographed so many weddings there already…and not once was everything NOT perfect.
At Mellow Oaks I saw something I’ve never seen before…Robert is Scottish and was wearing a traditional Scottish outfit. Antoinette even ordered his Scottish clan’s cuff links for him from overseas.
The marriage officer was Conrad Kruger Tel: 083 636 4397…what a TREMENDOUS service. I can REALLY recommend this guy.
The family and friends was a fun group…I really enjoyed the people as much as photographing the wedding. Thanks everybody!
