Jason and Roxanne got married at the beautiful Acorn Guest farm in Mpumalanga.
It was a beautiful weekend getaway for them and their guests who were all staying over at the farm.
Their ceremony was in the 100 year old poplar woods on the farm. Here they said their vows while their guests sat on wooden benches in the beautiful surroundings and witnessed their union.
They also planted a tree and nailed a plague with their names and date of marriage unto a big old tree during the reception. In years from now they will be able to take their kids back to this wood and show them their plague. This so so special.
After the ceremony they had some snacks and cut their cake at Die Klipskuur where the reception was going to be for the evening. This bluestone Klipskuur also have an outside “kuierstoep” and outside area where the guests mingled and played games while we were busy with the photoshoot.
The evening was full of fun, heavy thunderstorms and subsequent power outages as well as brilliant speeches. (Yes, I am talking about your speech Jason) Everyone was staying over and were having a fantastic time.
Acorn guest farm surely rates as one of the best wedding venues I have ever photographed at. And Jason and Roxy’s wedding was just as special as they are.
Thanks for inviting me to be your wedding photographer. I will always have fond memories of your wedding.
