Amazingwe wedding photography by JC Crafford Photography – Ike & Tanya

My first wedding that I photographed at Amazingwe. This place is a wedding photographer’s paradise. You even get a 4×4 and a driver that transport you all over the farm to the best spots to take your wedding pictures.

Ike and Tanya’s wedding…I have never seen two people laugh as much, they really have a zest for life. No wonder they even had friends coming from overseas for their wedding.

I remember a lot of things from their wedding:

Tanya’s high heels and trying to walk in the bush with it…LOL (remember Tanya?)

The VERY friendly bridesmaid that helped me hold my flash (and had to walk in the bush barefoot)

Ike and Tanya’s wedding dance that was a HUGE hit with the crowd (should have had a videographer there if only for this)

Tanya and her mom holding each other emotionally and crying during the tast on her mom (Must admit I had a tear in my eye here)

The church that was EXTREMELY hot (remember Ike?)

But..a HUGE success, lots of laughs, good friends, and a marriage union that’s going to be about friendship and having a lot of fun together as well. Congrats guys, thanks for choosing me to photograph your wedding.

here is Tanya and Ike’s story in Tanya’s own words:

I must say, I’ve struggled quite a bit and taken quite a while to explain how we met, but truth be told, our meeting and getting together is a long story, even though we met at work. The journey was a long one and trying at times but at long last one filled with fun and excitement, and today we are still very much in love with each other.

One thing was certain, and that is that we were both crazy about each other and when we finally got together, we both knew that we were meant to be and that we would get married. I had to get used to the idea of being Ike’s wife, even without a ring on my finger. We were so comfortable with one another, it is as if we’ve know each other, been together and have been best friends for years, we clicked instantly and compliment each other so well.

Like most instances in our relationship, when it comes to doing the traditional things,  Ike and I would always find a different way of doing it, like our first dance at our wedding for instance…Hehehe!

Our wedding was exactly the way we wanted it, a party to celebrate our love, yet still with a dash of tradition. It was all thanks to our friends, family and our stars, like you, whom we must give thanks too. JC, you truly captured every moment that was awesome and your photos will  be our story and memories that will last forever. Especially the tons of un-edited photos where I laughed so hard that it couldn’t even be published hehe.

Once again, thank you so much for our beautiful, endless memories that you’ve captured. You’re work is mesmerizing and your talent exceptional. I just can’t get enough!!!
